Delane's
Vocal Bio!
Delane
has been working on his vocal chops for
about 20 years. Remembering his first song
"Dream, Dream, Dream" he recalls his Mom's
requesting that he serenade her with it
anytime she needed to hear a comforting
voice. His first public performance came
when the Nun's at St Jude Catholic School
asked him at 7 years of age to sing Little
Drummer Boy for a Christmas Program. How
could he resist. Voice lessons started years
later when he moved to LA. and studied voice
and music theory at LACC under the tutelage
of Wesley Abbott. Delane has also trained
with Roger Burnley, Michael Galloway, and
Seth Riggs. He is currently training with
Nick Cooper, David Rishton, and Deni Clark.
His first professional performance found him
on stage in LA. Doing 'Aint Misbehaving' and
the 'The Point' by Harry Nielson in the part
of Luna. A self produced autobiographical
show entitled "Delane, A Man With A Dream"
has him doing tunes from Sammy Davis Jr. to
Marvin Gaye. Included in his repretua,
is "Shades of Grey," a Musical based on the
life Dorian Grey where he played the
character, James. |
